VOLUNTEERING
You too can make a difference.
UNICEF Australia is grateful for the generous assistance of our many volunteers. Volunteers are called upon on a needs basis to assist in our Sydney office with fundraising and administration. Our volunteers are a wonderful resource and their contribution helps us to keep our costs to a minimum.
Except for special events, UNICEF volunteers are usually required during normal office hours.
If you are interested in volunteering with UNICEF Australia, please forward your CV and availability to unicef@unicef.org.au.
Occasionally employment opportunities arise with UNICEF Australia - primarily in the marketing and fundraising areas. Positions are advertised in major newspapers and on the Australian Council for International Development (ACFID) website (see below for details).
As our role in Australia is primarily fundraising, UNICEF Australia does not recruit volunteers or employees to work with UNICEF overseas. Recruitment for volunteer and paid positions overseas is arranged through UNICEF Headquarters, based in New York. Detailed information can be obtained from the UNICEF international website at: http://www.unicef.org/about/employ/index.html
